MEET THE SCOTCH EGG MAN – MY DAD, A REGULAR GUY FROM HARLOW WHO’S FOUND HIS KNACK FOR MAKING SCOTCH EGGS THAT EVERYONE LOVES. AFTER FRIENDS AND FAMILY KEPT ASKING FOR MORE, HE DECIDED TO TAKE IT FURTHER. HE ALWAYS USES FRESH, QUALITY INGREDIENTS AND PUTS PLENTY OF CARE INTO EVERY BATCH. I CREATED A SIMPLE, NO-FUSS BLACK-AND-WHITE IDENTITY THAT REFLECTS EXACTLY WHO HE IS – STRAIGHTFORWARD AND HONEST. THE AIM WAS TO MAKE HIM KNOWN AS THE “MUFFIN MAN” OF SCOTCH EGGS, FAMOUS FOR HIS TASTY, NO-NONSENSE APPROACH.
TO KEEP THE BRAND CENTRED AROUND HIM, I CREATED A BRAND MARK FEATURING HIS FACE SIMPLY SHAPED LIKE AN EGG. THE COLOUR SCHEME DRAWS INSPIRATION FROM THE NATURAL TONES OF EGGS, PAIRED WITH BOLD, FRIENDLY TYPOGRAPHY TO GIVE THE BRAND A WELCOMING, APPROACHABLE FEEL.
